State Rep. Ellen Roberts isn’t trying to pick on anyone with her health-insurance bill this year, she tells The Durango Herald. But critics have targeted Roberts’ bill for an early death. It faces long odds Thursday in its first committee hearing, but Roberts will argue her bill is necessary to keep insurance costs down for everyone.

A hearing on this bill is scheduled for mid-morning Thursday following the adjournment of the full House. The meeting will be in Capitol 0112. Listen to a live feed of this meeting when it happens by clicking here.
