Loveland’s Bill McCreary, who served the Thompson School District Board of Education for nearly a decade, hopes to continue representing the region when he vies for a seat serving Colorado House District 51 in the November election, the Loveland Reporter-Herald says. About two weeks ago, McCreary, a Democrat, filed to run for a spot with the House of Representatives, challenging the current first-year GOP Rep. Brian DelGrosso. “I think I can collaborate with all members of the Legislature to get the Colorado economy and jobs moving again,” McCreary said, later adding: “I want to work with all members of the Legislature to improve the state government’s ability to meet the needs and expectations of its citizens.”
