Rep. Pace Wants to Put Reins on Pinnacol

Embattled workers’ compensation insurer Pinnacol Assurance faces a new fight in the Colorado General Assembly this session over spying on claimants, The Pueblo Chieftain reports. State Rep. Sal Pace, D-Pueblo, is running HB1012, which would limit insurers’ ability to conduct surveillance on workers’ compensation claimants to those instances where probable cause exists to suspect fraud.
