STATE BILL COLORADO
At least 22 new governors will meet next fall in Colorado Springs, the National Governors Association announced Thursday. Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter will be the host.
The so-called “Seminar for New Governors” is an executive-style retreat that helps governors-election prepare for life as chief executive, the association said. The association is Nov. 19-21, 2010.
“SNG enables us to take off our partisan hats and get down to the business of governing,” Ritter said. “This is an opportunity for veteran governors to share our experiences and offer a small glimpse of what the governors-elect can expect when they take office.”
